We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist in Manchester, New Hampshire. In this long-term contract position, you will manage payroll operations for a workforce of over 1,200 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in full-cycle and multi-state payroll processes.
Job Responsibility:
Process payroll from start to finish for a workforce of over 1,200 employees, including weekly and biweekly schedules
Conduct audits and reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll data
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and multi-state payroll requirements
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations efficiently
Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related inquiries and issues
Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes
Monitor changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
Implement best practices to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency
Provide support during payroll system updates or transitions, ensuring smooth operations
Assist with year-end reporting and reconciliation tasks
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, with a preference for 3-5 years
Proficiency in full-cycle payroll operations for large organizations
Experience handling multi-state payroll and tax compliance
Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct discrepancies
Knowledge of payroll regulations and reporting requirements
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
