Job Responsibility:
Review and process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for all employees
Verify accuracy of employee timesheets, deductions, and benefits
Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes
Calculate and remit payroll taxes, garnishments, and deductions in accordance with regulations
Ensure timely and accurate issuance of paychecks or direct deposits
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll issues
Generate payroll reports for management and audits
Stay updated on relevant wage, hour, and tax laws to ensure compliance
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
Proven experience in payroll processing or similar finance/accounting role
Familiarity with payroll software and timekeeping systems
Strong understanding of state and federal payroll regulations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
