We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. Job Responsibility:
Process full-cycle payroll efficiently for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accurate calculations and timely execution
Manage payroll for over 500 employees while adhering to compliance standards and company policies
Utilize ADP Workforce Now software to upload, review, and audit employee timesheets
Conduct detailed audits of hours worked to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed
Perform complex Excel functions, such as VLOOKUPs, to streamline payroll processes and maintain organized records
Collaborate with team members to address payroll-related issues and implement solutions
Provide support during the transition to hybrid work schedules, including initial in-office training
Maintain manual payroll processes and contribute to process improvements
Work extended hours, including Thursday evenings, as required to meet payroll deadlines
Exhibit a team-oriented mindset, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and management
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing
Strong proficiency in full-cycle payroll and multi-state payroll systems
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform VLOOKUPs and other complex functions
Demonstrated ability to handle payroll for over 500 employees
Excellent attention to detail and ability to audit data for accuracy
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team
Willingness to work extended hours and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
