Job Description

As part of our team, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations in line with Polish regulations and internal policies. This role plays a key part in delivering smooth and timely payroll processes, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting employees in all payroll-related matters.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and process payroll calculations for employees (employment contracts and civil law agreements), including all salary components
  • Ensure accurate processing of absences, benefits, and other payroll-related elements
  • Manage employee benefits (sports card, private medical care, insurance)
  • Coordinate payroll data inputs, including working time, absences, and bonuses, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including accounting postings (PK), payroll summaries, vacation accruals, and SOX-related reports
  • Handle settlements with external authorities (ZUS, US, PFRON) in compliance with legal requirements
  • Prepare statutory reports and declarations, including submissions to GUS
  • Provide ongoing support to employees by issuing certificates, explaining payslips, and resolving payroll-related inquiries
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar payroll position
  • Fluent Polish and English B1-B2
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Practical experience with payroll systems (e.g., TETA HR, PŁATNIK)
  • Good knowledge of Polish labor law, social security, and tax regulations
  • Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is an advantage
