Join our team as a Payroll Specialist, where you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and maintains confidentiality in all matters. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with HR, finance, and other business units while supporting company compliance and reporting requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Collect and verify timesheets, attendance records, and related payroll data
Calculate wages, benefits, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
Maintain and update employee payroll records, changes, and tax information
Reconcile payroll reports and prepare journal entries for the accounting department
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Support year-end processes, including W-2, W-4, and other statutory reporting
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and payroll data
Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and relevant regulations
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred
2+ years of payroll processing experience
Familiarity with major payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
experience with payroll tax filings is a plus
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
