Job Description:

Payroll Specialist role at Citi Belfast, responsible for delivering effective and accurate payroll service to all employees on Citi's UK Payroll, dealing with complex employee queries including PAYE tax issues while delivering high level customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Resolve employee queries using Servicenow
Follow all standard processes and guidance
Maintain employee records on Workday
Calculate and record payroll deductions or earnings as necessary
Review and audit payroll records including sickness payments and retrospective pay
Reconcile earnings and deduction totals
Create and maintain maternity schedules
Participate in projects and initiatives as they arise

Requirements:

Previous relevant Payroll experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and high attention to detail
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Creative problem solving skills
Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed
Think and act independently while also being team oriented
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent professional experience

Nice to have:

Experience of using Workday Payroll
Experience of working for a global company
