Job Title: Payroll Specialist About the Company: Outsourcing company that connects skilled professionals in the Philippines with international clients across various industries. We're currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team at our Cebu office. Position Summary The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of payroll, timekeeping, statutory compliance, employee compensation, and payroll reporting. The role ensures payroll accuracy, compliance with labor and tax regulations, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end payroll, including earnings, deductions, allowances, incentives, adjustments, and payslip generation. Administer and audit employee timekeeping, attendance, leaves, overtime, and payroll inputs. Compute salary adjustments, retroactive pay, final pay, and other compensation-related transactions. Process employee final pay and ensure release within the prescribed SLA of not more than 30 calendar days from separation, subject to completed clearance requirements. Perform annual tax annualization and ensure compliance with withholding tax regulations. Audit payroll transactions and employee compensation records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Validate salary rates, allowances, and compensation details of new hires and employee movements in HR Sprout. Audit and reconcile government contributions and loan deductions, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding taxes. Administer and reconcile government and third-party loan deductions and remittances. Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll, compliance, and management reports. Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, government agencies, and other stakeholders on payroll-related matters. Maintain employee payroll records and provide HR administrative support related to compensation and payroll. Support internal and external audits and recommend payroll process improvements and controls. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. At least 2 years of payroll administration experience. Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll processing, taxation, labor laws, and statutory benefits. Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems, preferably HR Sprout. Requirements
