Payroll Specialist

• Processing payroll for employees
• Verifying timecards and attendance records
• Calculating and processing taxes, benefits, and deductions
• Maintaining payroll records and reports
• Assisting employees with payroll-related questions
• Coordinating with HR and accounting teams
• Preparing payroll reports for management
• Staying up to date on changes in payroll laws
• Assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• associate's or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience required
• Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and time and attendance systems
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
