We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves overseeing payroll operations for approximately 600 employees. Job Responsibility:
Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce of approximately 600 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Manage multi-state payroll operations, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to execute payroll tasks efficiently and maintain records
Address payroll inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly
Ensure proper calculation and distribution of wages, benefits, taxes, and deductions
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain seamless payroll processes
Prepare and submit payroll reports as required by internal and external stakeholders
Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Perform regular audits of payroll data to identify and correct errors
Provide recommendations for improving payroll systems and processes
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing
Proficiency in handling full-cycle payroll operations
Demonstrated expertise in multi-state payroll administration
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now is required
Ability to manage payroll for organizations with over 500 employees
Strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills for resolving payroll-related issues
