Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist in the Duncan/Sburg area. This role requires strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Prior exposure in payroll is preferred.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and process payroll on a weekly basis
  • Ensure accuracy in timekeeping and time sheet submissions
  • Handle the full cycle of payroll operations, from data entry to final distribution
  • Oversee in-house payroll systems to maintain compliance and efficiency
  • Address and resolve discrepancies or issues related to payroll processing
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payment
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for audits and reporting
  • Review and verify payroll data to meet organizational standards
  • Implement improvements to streamline payroll processes and enhance accuracy

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of timekeeping systems and time sheet management
  • Ability to ensure compliance with payroll regulations and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams

  • Reconcile payroll registers, coordinate funding activities, and ensure electronic payments and live checks are issued correctly and on time
