We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Bel Air, Maryland. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity for long-term growth within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing, multi-state payroll management, and employee benefits setup.
Job Responsibility:
Process bi-weekly and weekly payroll
Manage multi-state payroll and create new payroll accounts
Review payroll entries and ensure accuracy and compliance with company and state regulations
Address payroll-related inquiries and assist with notices and unemployment claims
Set up employee benefits and retirement packages, ensuring proper documentation and communication
Collaborate with clients to onboard new payrolls and ensure smooth integration
Enter employee time data and manage hourly and salaried payroll processes
Provide support and resolve issues related to payroll systems and processes
Assist with payroll-related interactions and communications with third-party organizations
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing
Proficiency in managing multi-state payroll operations
Strong knowledge of payroll systems
Experience in handling employee benefits and retirement package setups
Familiarity with creating and managing payroll account numbers for compliance
Ability to address payroll-related questions and resolve issues efficiently
Excellent organizational and communication skills
