We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Camden, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to manage payroll operations for a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in full-cycle payroll processing and a strong understanding of compliance with multi-state payroll regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Handle full-cycle payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees
Manage payroll operations for over 500 employees across multiple states
Process garnishments, deductions, and other adjustments with precision
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to streamline payroll operations and maintain accurate records
Monitor compliance with state and federal payroll regulations
Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
Generate reports and analyze payroll data to support business decisions
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration
Review and audit payroll transactions to maintain accuracy and prevent errors
Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing
Proven expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software
Strong knowledge of garnishments, deductions, and payroll adjustments
Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations at both state and federal levels
Experience managing payroll for large organizations (500+ employees preferred)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
