Job Responsibility:
Payroll Preparation and processing within the payroll accounting transaction cycle
Responsible for garnishments, ACA tracking, and check writing
Ensures that all agency policies and procedures are followed
Maintains payroll documentation and performs monthly account reconciliations
Reviews bi-weekly payroll reports to verify accuracy, including payroll deductions
Assists with completion of month end closing
Assists with review of federal and state tax returns and W-2 forms for accuracy and completeness
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or an Associate degree with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience processing payroll for 1,000+ employees.
