We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll operations for a multi-state workforce. Job Responsibility:
Oversee and execute full-cycle payroll operations to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage payroll processing for a multi-state workforce, adhering to all relevant regulations
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to perform payroll tasks efficiently and securely
Process biweekly payroll for employees ranging from 101 to 500 staff members
Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of payroll data to relevant stakeholders
Implement and maintain payroll procedures aligned with company policies and legal requirements
Leverage Google Apps and Google Cloud Platform for payroll documentation and communication
Conduct audits to verify payroll accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws
Requirements:
Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management
Expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll functions
Familiarity with processing biweekly payroll for medium-sized organizations
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards
Experience working with Google Apps and Google Cloud Platform
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly
