Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist. In this role, you will manage payroll operations across multiple entities, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on schedule every two weeks. This opportunity is ideal for someone who brings strong full-cycle payroll experience, can handle complex pay components, and is comfortable working in a high-volume environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Administer end-to-end payroll processing for multiple business entities, maintaining accuracy from data entry through final distribution
  • Run biweekly payroll cycles for a large employee population, reviewing payroll records to resolve discrepancies before processing is finalized
  • Calculate and validate special earnings such as commissions, ensuring payments align with company policies and supporting documentation
  • Manage wage garnishments and other payroll deductions, applying updates in accordance with applicable regulations and court orders
  • Audit payroll data, earnings, taxes, and deductions to help ensure compliance with internal standards and external requirements
  • Partner with HR, finance, and other internal teams to gather payroll changes, investigate issues, and support timely payroll completion
  • Maintain payroll records and reports within UKG Pro, using the system to monitor transactions and support payroll accuracy
  • Assist with payroll-related updates or process changes as needed, including tasks tied to operational or system-related adjustments

Requirements

  • Proven experience handling full-cycle payroll from initial input through final reconciliation
  • Background processing payroll for large employee groups, including environments with more than 500 employees
  • Hands-on experience running biweekly payroll schedules with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines
  • Working knowledge of garnishments, payroll deductions, and related compliance considerations
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
