As part of the Reward Team within Asia Pacific (APAC) Human Resource (HR) team, the role will manage the Payroll Operations in Singapore, the headquarters of the region, alongside with his/her team member.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the monthly payroll processes and adhoc annual payment campaigns
Ensure accurate and timely submission of payments, governmental claims contributions and regulatory tax reportings to various government bodies
Support HRBP to respond to employee inquiries on complex payroll issues and tax enquiries
Collaborate closely with the Singapore Compensation & Benefits Team
Support business continuity
Responsible for the data integrity of the information stored in the Airbus’ HRMS
Managing HRIS & payroll software with necessary updates
Manage the E-leave system for all leave types
Liaise with internal/external auditor, government agencies, payroll provider or third party
Possess strong knowledge on CPF, Singapore tax regulations by IRAS, and Ministry of Manpower
Adept in operations, have a mindset for continuous progression, simplification and harmonization
Ensure all Payroll processes and operations are aligned with the One-Roof Human Resource strategy
Objectively define roles and responsibilities for the Singapore Payroll Team
Work closely with the relevant HR stakeholders
Accountable for all firm-wide communication relating to payroll operational topics
Partner with the Singapore C&B Team to oversee that employees are correctly enrolled and onboarded to insurance / flexible benefits
Manage work pass applications and renewals
Act as expert and advise on work pass topics
Adept in the use of the Company’s HRMS system
Support in the vendor management of HRMS
Have the adaptability to work with changing strategies, initiatives, and projects
May be required to support projects directed by Group and/or Regional Rewards
Actively participate to internal company HR networks
Requirements:
Degree and above in any discipline preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or Economics
At least 3 years of working knowledge in Payroll (in-house or as consultant)
Strong understanding of taxes and social contributions
Good operational experience within fast pace and complex multinational environment
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer oriented mindset
Strong knowledge of major HR Management Systems (e.g. BIPO, Workday, etc)
Highly numeric, analytical mind with sharp attention to detail
Competent in managing excel or G-sheets
Effective in presentations (ie. verbal and material references)
Strong customer service orientation
Highly motivated and adaptable – ability to work under pressure, handle high volumes, and manage complex situations
