If you’re a seasoned payroll expert who enjoys getting involved in systems, validation, and project work, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a high-impact program.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute SIT test cases, raise and retest defects
  • Support Payroll Parallel Run Testing (PPRT), including validation and reconciliation
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect triage
  • Provide subject matter expertise in payroll to project and operational teams
  • Validate payroll outputs including awards, rules, and compliance requirements
  • Support payroll data reconciliation across EC, ECP, and ECC
  • Assist with STP validation, payroll posting, and financial reconciliation
  • Provide hypercare support post go-live

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or Payroll Specialist
  • Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge, including compliance and legislation
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC)
  • Solid experience with Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and/or SAP ECC
  • Experience supporting payroll implementation, transformation, or upgrade projects
  • Proven involvement in SIT and/or PPRT testing activities
  • Strong reconciliation, validation, and payroll balancing skills (incl. WTR)
  • Understanding of STP reporting, payroll postings, and finance reconciliation
  • Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve payroll defects/issues
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across HR, payroll, finance, and technical teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Confident working independently in a fast-paced project environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative environments
  • Experience in Australian payroll environments
  • Previous work on SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP implementations
  • Experience with payroll reconciliations, posting validation, and reporting
  • Familiarity with Agile or structured project methodologies

What we offer

  • Flexible working: genuine flexibility options available
  • Growth: national career pathways across multiple business units
  • Discounts: retail partners including Woolworths, Airbnb, JB Hi-Fi, Bupa and more
  • Paid leave: parental, cultural, community service, study, volunteering and purchased leave
