We are looking for a person who can provide expertise in and secure the operation of local payroll and payroll-related tasks. You will work closely with the Country Total Rewards team and GBO(Global Business Operations team, located in Shanghai) to deliver excellent co-worker experience.
Job Responsibility
Secure the country payroll process in partnership with the GBO team
Ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations by applying local payroll expertise and country policies
Execute and support country total rewards operations and related administrative processes
Provide payroll and total rewards expertise to local stakeholders and business partners
Coordinate with GBO, social security, pension and external vendors to ensure efficient administration support
Continuously improve payroll processes and ways of working to enhance efficiency and quality
Support co-workers and People & Culture teams with payroll and related benefits inquiries
Contribute to a positive co-worker experience through accurate, timely and service-oriented support
Requirements
Preferred candidates will have 2+ years of payroll or payroll-related experience
Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and contribute positively to team success
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with local and global stakeholders in an international environment
Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a dynamic business environment with an open and flexible mindset
Knowledge of payroll and processing to ensure co-workers receive the right pay at the right time, including tax, social security reporting and input to financial accounting
Knowledge of implementing and maintaining payroll-related policies, standards and compliance requirements
Good analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
