This established and stable business is known for its supportive culture and they are currently embarking on significant payroll transformation initiatives. They are seeking a Payroll Reporting Analyst to join their team during this exciting period of change.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and delivering complex payroll validation and reconciliation reports to identify trends or anomalies
  • Analysing the impact of system upgrades on wage types, deductions, and leave balances
  • Supporting parallel pay run testing and post-upgrade comparisons to ensure data integrity
  • Investigating complex data discrepancies to determine root causes and supporting remediation activities
  • Presenting evidence-based findings and recommendations to payroll leadership and project stakeholders
  • Developing and documenting reporting logic and methodologies to ensure transparency and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with technology and systems teams to support major payroll transformation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll reporting or payroll analytics within a similar environment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide authoritative data insights with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex data discrepancies
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working alongside project and systems teams
  • Full and unlimited Australian working rights and willingness to undergo a national criminal check
