Job Description

The Payroll Partner is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of ANZ payroll in conjunction with the managed service and will also be the back-up resource for the rest of ANZ regions payroll processing.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensuring payroll deadlines are adhered to
  • Prepare payroll and human resource information for data input and assist with checking, quality control and maintenance of records to ensure accuracy, service quality and data integrity
  • Accurate data entry and validation by way of direct entry and spreadsheet preparation
  • Checking the payroll results to ensure the accuracy of all fortnightly, monthly and off cycles payrolls
  • Accountable for the on time and correct delivery of employee pay and benefits and ensure Aurecon meets internal and external requirements
  • Support the design and implementation of enhancements and compliance to the payroll templates
  • Support payroll year end activities
  • Support Concierge Team to provide a responsive, accurate client advisory service on payroll matters, resolve difficult inquiries and assist in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required
  • Working with the People Process Management Team to assist/solve payroll queries
  • Support the delivery of annual payroll processes including remuneration reviews, bonus payments, purchase leave & supplement payments
  • Prepare and reviewing termination calculations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a payroll officer with a focus on ANZ Payroll processing
  • Extensive knowledge in compliance to tax and social contributions on ANZ payroll
  • Knowledge and experience in processing payroll using Excel (Highly regarded)
  • Experience in excel payroll to system migration (desirable)
  • Workday experience desirable
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of Service Management systems/tools (desirable)
  • Experience in a global shared services organisation (desirable)
