Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Officer, where you will play a pivotal role in managing payroll processes for a leading organization in the industrial sector. This full-time contract position offers you the opportunity to ensure that employees are compensated accurately and on time, while collaborating with various stakeholders to uphold the company’s salary policy.

Job Responsibility

  • Payroll Management: Collect, process, and verify payroll information including worked hours, paid leave, benefits, and deductions
  • Administration: Update and compile administrative documents in each employee’s individual file and serve as the main point of contact for HR colleagues regarding payroll-related inquiries
  • Compliance: Monitor developments in legal, social, and tax regulations, and implement changes in internal policies

Requirements

  • Payroll Management
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance with internal policies and regulations
  • Social Law Knowledge: Understanding of social law and tax law relevant to payroll
  • eBlox Proficiency: Strong knowledge of eBlox (mandatory)
  • Excel Expertise: Excellent Excel skills at an expert level
  • Language Skills: Proficient in French (written and spoken) at a native or bilingual level
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll management for workers, graded staff, and managers
  • Industry Experience: Experience in an industrial environment is an asset
  • Organizational Experience: Proven experience managing payroll in large organizations
