Payroll Officer

• Assisting in End-to-End Processing and the coordination of the entire Australian and New Zealand payroll function, including STP submissions
• Managing Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and WorkCover while ensuring adherence to legislative changes
• Assisting with Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations in Blackline and reconciling Novated Leases
• Applying expert knowledge to accurately calculate complex final entitlements and settlement figures, ensuring strict associated regulatory and tax compliance

• Minimum 3 years in a similar end-to-end payroll role
• Functional experience with Chris21 is highly ideal
• exposure to other tier-one systems is a significant advantage
• Advanced Excel skills are essential for complex reconciliations and data analysis
• Comprehensive understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including Single Touch Payroll (STP) Phase 2
• Strong deductive reasoning and the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities without loss of composure

Accounting/Finance Qualification to be highly regarded
