Join the Payroll Service Centre (PSC) supporting Health & Social Care (HSC) organisations across Northern Ireland. We are seeking a motivated Payroll Officer (Band 3) part time or full time hours to deliver accurate, timely payroll services within the Business Services Organisation (BSO). Job Responsibility

  • Process and validate payroll data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Respond to payroll queries from staff and managers
  • Identify and resolve issues, escalating where required
  • Support overpayment recovery and data checks
  • Contribute to service improvements and payroll projects
  • Maintain compliance with legislation, audit, and governance standards

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) or relevant experience
  • Experience in payroll, finance, HR, or customer service (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
