Our client is a prominent organisation looking for a dedicated Payroll Officer to join their friendly payroll team. Based in a central Brisbane location, this 6-month fixed-term contract offers the opportunity to join a professional and supportive team during an active period for the business.
Job Responsibility:
Managing full-function payroll processing, including enterprise and packaged staff
Calculating terminations, back pay, and ad hoc payments with a high degree of accuracy
Handling payroll queries via an internal ticketing system in a professional manner
Collaborating with HR partners and external stakeholders to ensure data integrity
Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, tax requirements, and superannuation
Ensuring all staff are paid correctly and within strict fortnightly deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience in a high-volume, end-to-end payroll environment
Experience with Chris21 or iChris
Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation
Intermediate Excel skills
Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service
