The successful candidate will provide essential back-up payroll support for a team managing 120 employees. This is a critical role to ensure business continuity, particularly around managing manual payroll adjustments. The role is a 6-month contract, fully remote, and requires a dedicated and experienced professional. The first month requires full-time hours (38 hours per week), transitioning to a likely 2-3 days per week (depending on business requirements).
Job Responsibility:
Process fortnightly payroll for approximately 120 employees
Manage and process manual payroll adjustments, including Flexi-time, Salary Sacrifice, and Novated Leases, etc
Ensure accurate interpretation and application of Enterprise Agreements (EA)
Maintain payroll system integrity and compliance
Work independently to manage and complete all assigned payroll tasks
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, with strong knowledge of payroll processes and adjustments
Demonstrated experience with TechOne payroll system (highly regarded)
Strong understanding and ability to interpret Enterprise Agreements (EA)
A self-starter who can quickly pick up new processes and work independently and autonomously
