Job Responsibility:
End-to-End Payroll Processing Execute timely and accurate salary payments, EFT transmissions, and tax distributions while maintaining precise data entry within the payroll system
Financial Reconciliation Reconcile payroll to the General Ledger, including PAYG, Superannuation, and other deductions, to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Employee Lifecycle Management Administer all staff changes, including commencements, terminations, and annual salary reviews, while maintaining accurate individual employee records
Entitlement Administration Calculate and reconcile leave entitlements (Annual, Sick, and Long Service Leave) and manage the transfer of entitlements between organizations
Advisory & Customer Service Provide expert advice to managers and staff regarding payroll issues and employment conditions across the region
Data Integrity & Reporting Maintain the HRIS to ensure data security and produce standard management reports while providing a clear, retrievable audit trail for all transactions
Compliance & Governance Uphold Council standards by adhering to OH&S, Privacy Legislation, the Staff Code of Conduct, and Child Safe policies in all professional dealings
Requirements:
High volume end to end payroll processing experience
Experience with Aurion or HumanForce payroll systems (Desirable)
Previous government experience (Desirable, not essential)
