Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and streamline payroll operations for a multi-state organization based in Sunnyvale, California. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and effective management of benefits and leave of absence programs. Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and process full-cycle payroll for over 500 employees across multiple states and Canada
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to ensure timely and accurate bi-monthly payroll processing
  • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including multi-state payroll laws
  • Administer leave of absence payments and ensure proper tracking and reconciliation
  • Handle benefits payroll operations, including 401(k) contributions and benefits reconciliations
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
  • Lead efforts to improve payroll systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitor and implement changes in payroll regulations to maintain compliance
  • Prepare detailed payroll reports and analyses for management review
  • Provide guidance and training to payroll staff to enhance team performance

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing payroll operations
  • Expertise in full-cycle payroll, including multi-state and Canadian payroll
  • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of bi-monthly payroll practices and regulations
  • Experience handling payroll for organizations with over 500 employees
