Job Responsibility:
Own the end‑to‑end payroll process for hourly and salaried employees
Ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Manage payroll taxes, filings, garnishments, deductions, and year‑end processing
Serve as the go‑to payroll expert for employees and leadership
Partner with HR and Accounting on audits, reporting, and process improvements
Identify opportunities to streamline payroll workflows and improve efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience managing payroll (multi‑state experience a plus!)
Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance
Hands‑on experience with payroll systems and Excel
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Organized, accountable, and comfortable working independently
