Job Description:

Oversee and execute payroll operations with precision and efficiency in the construction industry. Requires sharp attention to detail, strong understanding of payroll processes, and ability to manage compliance with state and federal regulations. Play a key role in ensuring seamless payroll workflows while supporting reporting and reconciliation duties.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate weekly payroll processing including printing input sheets, validating timecards, and conducting final checks
Prepare and distribute certified payroll reports for project-specific requirements
Reconcile deductions, union reports, employee garnishments, and issue payments
Manage office 401(K) reporting including spreadsheet creation and communication
File workers' compensation paperwork in applicable states
Create and submit 941 reports, calculate liabilities, and ensure timely payment of local and state payroll taxes
Oversee the onboarding process for new hires ensuring accurate entry into payroll systems
Maintain up-to-date employee rosters and review timecards for accuracy
Process payroll adjustments, generate direct deposit files, and issue physical checks
Ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations including union and certified payroll requirements

Requirements:

Certified Payroll, Union and Multi state experience required
Extensive experience managing full-cycle payroll operations
Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll and certified payroll processes
