We are looking for a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll operations for a workforce in Fall River, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position focuses on ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting HR-related initiatives and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling multi-state payroll systems.
Job Responsibility:
Process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
Oversee benefits administration, including coordination with providers and handling employee reimbursements
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations and maintain employee records
Collaborate on financial reporting tasks related to payroll and HR activities
Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
Support HR projects as needed, with a primary focus on payroll functions
Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll requirements and regulations
Monitor and manage open enrollment processes for benefits programs
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll and tax laws to ensure adherence to standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management, preferably for over 250 employees
Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll processes
Strong expertise with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
Familiarity with benefits administration, including open enrollment
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively across departments, especially HR and finance
Solid understanding of payroll-related tax laws and compliance standards
Nice to have:
Bilingual skills are a plus, though not required
