Expanding organization is currently seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll operations for both union and non-union employees in a construction industry setting. This role involves supervising payroll administrators, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements, and handling payroll processes for multiple entities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in union payroll, and proficient with Sage Timberline.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise two payroll administrators and provide guidance on payroll-related tasks
Manage payroll processing for approximately 400 employees across multiple entities, including smaller teams
Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and union requirements
Handle garnishments, audits, and filing W-2 forms accurately and on time
Prepare and submit monthly and weekly remittances to unions
Code hours worked to specific cost codes and verify accuracy
Utilize Sage Timberline for payroll and accounting processes
Requirements:
5+years of experience in payroll management, preferably within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of union payroll processes and collective bargaining agreements
Proficiency in Sage Timberline for payroll and accounting functions
Familiarity with garnishments, audits, and regulatory filings such as W-2s
