Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee systems-related projects within the healthcare industry. This long-term contract opportunity is based in Norcross, Georgia, and requires someone with expertise in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless execution of HR and payroll system integrations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to drive complex projects to successful completion.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage systems-focused projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement and optimize HR and payroll systems, including Workday HCM and ADP Vantage
  • Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Evaluate existing HRIS and payroll systems for improvement opportunities and implement upgrades or changes as necessary
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting to support project decisions
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and addressing challenges

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the healthcare or related industries
  • Expertise in managing HR and payroll systems such as Workday HCM, ADP Vantage, and HRIS platforms
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and ensure project success
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements related to HR and payroll systems
