Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Lead to oversee and execute end-to-end payroll operations within Workday. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting system configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the full-cycle payroll process using Workday, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for employees
  • Configure and maintain Workday payroll system settings, including earnings, deductions, and tax setups
  • Troubleshoot payroll system issues, including discrepancies related to earnings calculations and GL postings
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure payroll entries are properly recorded and reconciled in the general ledger
  • Review and audit payroll data for accuracy, compliance, and completeness
  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and provide guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors

Requirements

  • 5+ years of payroll experience with a strong focus on Workday Payroll
  • Hands-on experience processing payroll within Workday
  • Experience configuring payroll elements within Workday (earnings, deductions, tax settings, etc.)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot payroll system issues, including earnings and GL posting discrepancies
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting and general ledger impact
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
