Job Description:

We’re looking for a Payroll Intern to join our team for 13 months, supporting UK and International payrolls across the EMEA region. This role gives you hands-on experience in payroll, office organization, and project support, while helping you build practical skills in Excel, process management, and professional communication. You will keep team resources in order, update procedures, and flag outstanding payroll queries, helping daily operations run more smoothly. You will also receive structured on-the-job training and real exposure to how a payroll team works.

Job Responsibility:

  • Organize and maintain network folders to improve team efficiency
  • Review and update older payroll procedures into the new template and format
  • Organise, track, and monitor team mailboxes to support smooth communication
  • Flag outstanding payroll queries to the team and help follow up on responses, sending holding notes as appropriate
  • Perform basic payroll tasks under supervision
  • Provide administrative support for projects, including the global vendor project
  • Update and maintain Monday board templates and other team tracking tools
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to streamline processes and enhance team efficiency
  • Assist the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be a second year undergraduate student on an industrial placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2027
  • Must have the right to work in the UK already in place
  • Available to start working full time from July 2026
  • Organized and able to keep track of tasks and documents
  • Able to follow instructions and check work for accuracy
  • Good communication and willingness to ask questions when unsure
  • Proactive and eager to learn
  • Comfortable using Excel and willing to develop technical skills
  • Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions
