Job Description:

The Payroll Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role in HR and Payroll operations. The position involves analysis, implementing internal procedures, managing business documentation, and system specifications. It requires specialty area knowledge, analytical skills, independence of judgment, and professional communication abilities.

Job Responsibility:

Performs business analysis for HR and Payroll operations organization
Creates and implements internal procedures and business requirements
Creates and manages the business analysis and documentation of system change specifications
Develops and implements user application test plans
Executes test plans and identifies discrepancies
Resolves discrepancies with technical and/or business personnel, implements corrective measures, and retests as needed
Interprets data and makes recommendations
Operates with a limited level of direct supervision
Exercises independence of judgement and autonomy
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrates particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets

Requirements:

2-5 years relevant experience
In-depth specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data
Ability to identify policy gaps
Solid working experience in a related role (combination of education/experience)
High proficiency in English language
