Job Description:

The Payroll Intermed Analyst is a developing professional role that involves performing business analysis for HR and payroll operations, creating and implementing internal procedures, testing applications, resolving discrepancies, and making informed recommendations. The role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and autonomy.

Job Responsibility:

Performs business analysis for HR and Payroll operations organization
Creates and implements internal procedures and business requirements
Creates and manages the business analysis and documentation of system change specifications
Develops and implements user application test plans
Executes test plans and identifies discrepancies
Resolves discrepancies with technical and/or business personnel, implements corrective measures, and retests as needed
Interprets data and makes recommendations
Operates with a limited level of direct supervision
Exercises independence of judgement and autonomy
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Requirements:

2-5 years relevant experience
In-depth specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data
Ability to identify policy gaps
Solid working experience in a related role (combination of education/experience)
High proficiency in English language.
