Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience leading payroll transformation, system implementation, and operational excellence across Asia Pacific and Australia, particularly within banking and large financial institutions
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale payroll projects, including system implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, and process improvement initiatives across multiple countries and complex regulatory environments
  • Strong background in end-to-end project management, including project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and executive reporting, ensuring successful and timely delivery of regional payroll initiatives
  • Extensive experience collaborating with HR, Finance, IT, HRIS, and external vendors to deliver seamless payroll solutions aligned with organizational goals and local compliance requirements
  • Deep understanding of regional payroll regulations and statutory compliance, including Singapore CPF, Australian PAYG, India PF/ESIC, and other Asia Pacific payroll frameworks, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations
  • Skilled in payroll system configuration, data migration, testing, validation, go-live execution, post-implementation support, and integration with HR, finance, and timekeeping systems
  • Recognized subject matter expert in payroll operations, process optimization, and automation, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity across payroll functions
  • Strong vendor management and relationship management capabilities, including overseeing regional payroll service providers, monitoring service delivery, resolving escalations, and leading contract and performance management activities
  • Experienced in change management, user training, and stakeholder communication across diverse cultures and regional business environments, ensuring successful user adoption and operational transition
  • Proficient in leading payroll platforms such as ADP, Ceridian, and Ramco, with strong knowledge of project management methodologies including PMP, Prince2, and Agile frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable payroll and technology solutions for multi-country operations
