Job Responsibility

  • Process biweekly payroll for employees across multiple U.S. states and Canadian jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to applicable regulations
  • Maintain employee records in HR systems, update payroll and personnel data, and help ensure documentation remains complete and current
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including required paperwork, system setup, and communication of key employment information
  • Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, changes, employee questions, and related documentation throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to address employee relations and HR administration matters with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Help monitor compliance with payroll, tax, wage, hour, and employment requirements by preparing records and supporting audits or reporting needs
  • Assist with HRIS activities, including data entry, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting discrepancies affecting payroll or employee information
  • Contribute to process improvements and support operational changes, including updates tied to HR or payroll system transitions when needed

Requirements

  • Experience managing biweekly payroll in a multi-state environment, preferably including both U.S. and Canadian payroll processing
  • Working knowledge of human resources administration, including onboarding, benefits support, and employee records management
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate data across payroll and HR systems
