Entry Officer Level (Data Entry & Part-Time): Ideal for a payroll clerk, HR administrator, or finance student looking for part-time (Monday to Wednesday). Basic data entry support, processing timesheets, new starters & terminations within Micropay. Assisting the wider team with timesheet collection and straightforward payroll-related administrative tasks. Eagerness to learn Australian payroll frameworks and build hands-on processing skills. (No specific payroll system experience is required) Officer Level: At least 2 years of full-function, end-to-end payroll processing experience using Micropay systems. Confident managing high-volume weekly or fortnightly pay cycles with a high level of accuracy. Solid foundation in interpreting regular Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements (EBAs). Approachable communication style to handle daily internal queries and timesheet variations. Senior Officer Level: Over 5 years of payroll experience, with a heavy focus on complex systems data and advanced Micropay workflows. Strong technical capability in handling payroll tax calculations, multi-state lodgements, and group tax compliance. Proven experience managing workers' compensation payroll variables, return-to-work adjustments, and insurance renewals. Mastery of month-end and year-end reconciliations, General Ledger journals, and custom reporting.
