Are you a payroll professional with recent experience using the Micropay platform? We are building a talent pipeline for several upcoming permanent and contract roles across NSW that specifically require Micropay proficiency. These positions offer hybrid working models, combining the flexibility of home with collaborative office days. Entry Officer Level (Data Entry & Part-Time): Ideal for a payroll clerk, HR administrator, or finance student looking for part-time (Monday to Wednesday). Basic data entry support, processing timesheets, new starters & terminations within Micropay. Assisting the wider team with timesheet collection and straightforward payroll-related administrative tasks. Eagerness to learn Australian payroll frameworks and build hands-on processing skills. (No specific payroll system experience is required) Officer Level: At least 2 years of full-function, end-to-end payroll processing experience using Micropay systems. Confident managing high-volume weekly or fortnightly pay cycles with a high level of accuracy. Solid foundation in interpreting regular Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements (EBAs). Approachable communication style to handle daily internal queries and timesheet variations. Senior Officer Level: Over 5 years of payroll experience, with a heavy focus on complex systems data and advanced Micropay workflows. Strong technical capability in handling payroll tax calculations, multi-state lodgements, and group tax compliance. Proven experience managing workers' compensation payroll variables, return-to-work adjustments, and insurance renewals. Mastery of month-end and year-end reconciliations, General Ledger journals, and custom reporting.
