Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Customer Service specialist for a 3-month contract to support a busy customer service operation in Kansas. This contract position focuses on assisting customers over the phone, handling service inquiries with care, and entering information accurately into company systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a call center environment, communicates clearly, and can manage both inbound and outbound interactions while maintaining a high standard of service.

Job Responsibility

  • Respond to incoming customer calls and provide timely, courteous assistance with payroll-related questions and service requests
  • Place outbound calls as needed to follow up on open issues, confirm information, or provide status updates to customers
  • Enter orders, service details, and customer information into internal systems with a high degree of accuracy
  • Resolve routine customer concerns by identifying needs, explaining available solutions, and ensuring appropriate next steps are completed
  • Maintain clear and organized records of customer interactions, updates, and resolutions during each contact
  • Work within a call center setting to manage daily call volume efficiently while meeting service expectations
  • Escalate complex inquiries to the appropriate team when issues require additional research or specialized support
