In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting various accounting functions. Job Responsibility:
Process payroll accurately and on schedule, adhering to company policies and legal regulations
Utilize accounting software systems and payroll platforms such as Paylocity, Paycom, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce
Maintain precise records for accounts payable and employee benefits, ensuring compliance with auditing standards
Collaborate with team members to address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies
Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefit functions to identify and correct errors
Stay updated on industry standards and changes in payroll regulations
Verify and manage employee timesheets and attendance records
Provide administrative assistance to the finance department as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience supporting payroll teams
Experience with payroll platforms
Strong understanding of payroll processes and accounting functions
