We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our team based in Somerville, Massachusetts. This role involves managing payroll processes for approximately 130 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Process biweekly payroll for a workforce of approximately 130 employees, including both salaried staff and per diem clinicians
Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards
Manage employee benefits and coordinate payroll deductions effectively
Utilize and maintain payroll systems, with Paylocity and Netsuite experience considered a plus
Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Maintain confidentiality and uphold data security standards within all payroll processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Prepare and review payroll reports to support financial and operational decision-making
Assist in streamlining payroll procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Provide support during audits and other financial reviews as necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or a related field
1-3 years of experience requiring attention to detail in payroll processing
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel and other payroll-related software
Familiarity with Paylocity and Netsuite is advantageous but not required
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting
Comprehensive understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational and communication skills
