The Payroll Coordinator assists in the process and maintenance of accurate and up to date payroll records and contributes to ensuring HammondCare meets legislative requirements. This is a parental leave contract for 6 months working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting in the timely compilation and distribution of pay for staff on a fortnightly basis
Answer all payroll enquiries in an appropriate and timely
Provide ad hoc reports requested by manager
Provide statements of service/assistance to the People Team as requested
Keep up to date with legislative changes with respect to the payment and taxation of wages/salaries
Contribute to ensuring HammondCare is meeting legislative requirements through the deduction and remittance of PAYG tax, Superannuation Guarantee and salary sacrifice contributions, and other payroll deductions required as per legislation, staff contracts and requests
Maintain payroll compliance with relevant Award and Agreement determinations
Check new employee records in a timely and accurate manner
