We are looking for a skilled Payroll Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Winchester, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have experience managing payroll processes and working with Paycom software. This role involves handling payroll for a mid-sized team while providing guidance to city staff on Paycom functionalities.
Job Responsibility:
Process biweekly payroll for approximately 168 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Utilize Paycom software to manage and execute payroll operations effectively
Provide training and support to city staff on Paycom system functionalities
Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Maintain compliance with payroll regulations, including garnishments and deductions
Collaborate with team members to streamline payroll processes
Generate and review payroll reports to ensure data integrity
Assist in identifying opportunities for improving payroll workflows
Work closely with management to communicate updates on payroll operations
Requirements:
Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably with mid-sized teams
Proficiency in using Paycom software for payroll operations
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, including garnishments and deductions
Ability to handle full-cycle payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency
Excellent communication skills for providing training and support to staff
Detail-oriented approach to ensure data accuracy and compliance
