We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing and support payroll-related compliance and reporting. This role will work closely with HR, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely payroll execution while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Process end-to-end payroll on a weekly/bi-weekly/semi-monthly basis for hourly and salaried employees
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
Maintain payroll records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Process new hires, terminations, garnishments, and benefit deductions
Conduct payroll audits and reconcile payroll reports
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and file payroll tax payments and reports (W-2s, 941s, state filings)
Partner with HR on benefits, timekeeping, and employee data changes
Support year-end payroll activities and audits
Requirements:
2+ years of payroll processing experience
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
Experience processing payroll for multiple states preferred
Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, UKG, Workday, Ultipro)
