Job Responsibility:
Process employee payroll accurately and on time, including timesheet verification, calculation of hours, overtime, deductions, and direct deposits
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Assist with quarterly and year-end reporting, reconciliation, and audits
Support the finance and HR teams with additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk or working in a payroll environment
Familiarity with payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency required)
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
