Job Description

We are looking for a Payroll Clerk to support accurate and timely payroll operations for a manufacturing organization in Cape Coral, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable and comfortable managing payroll activities for a mid-sized employee population. The successful candidate will help maintain compliance, resolve payroll-related questions, and contribute to efficient payroll processing from start to finish.

Job Responsibility

  • Process end-to-end payroll for a workforce of approximately 101 to 500 employees, ensuring wages are calculated correctly and paid on schedule
  • Review timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and adjustments to verify payroll data before final submission
  • Administer wage garnishments and other withholdings in accordance with applicable laws, court orders, and company policies
  • Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Respond to employee questions related to pay, deductions, tax withholdings, and payroll discrepancies in a clear and helpful manner
  • Use Excel formulas and spreadsheet tools to reconcile payroll data, prepare reports, and identify variances
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather updated employee information affecting pay, such as status changes or benefit deductions
  • Assist with payroll audits, compliance checks, and reporting requirements to support accurate recordkeeping and regulatory adherence

Requirements

  • Experience processing full-cycle payroll for an employee population of 101 to 500 individuals
  • Working knowledge of payroll garnishments, deductions, and related compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with Excel formulas for data review, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive payroll information confidentially
