Payroll Clerk

• Process and record employee work hours to ensure accurate payroll calculations
• Assist clients in updating and maintaining payroll account information
• Address client inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate on special projects to improve payroll processes and efficiency
• Verify data accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report payroll data
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive payroll information
• Provide support in auditing payroll records for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure timely and efficient communication with clients and team members

• Proven experience in payroll processing or a related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
• Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards
• Capability to work independently and meet deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent
• additional certifications in payroll are a plus
