Robert Half is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk for a contract assignment with one of our trusted clients. In this role, you’ll support payroll operations and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of employee compensation processes.
Job Responsibility:
Process employee time records, attendance, and payroll transactions
Assist with weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll runs
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and maintain accurate payroll documentation
Support payroll tax filings and reporting requirements
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefit issues
Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
Requirements:
Prior experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar payroll position
Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail, data entry, and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accurate record-keeping
