We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Clerk to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. The role involves handling payroll processes for a construction company, including certified payroll and prevailing wage tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Process payroll for 101 to 500 employees, including certified payroll and prevailing wage calculations
Handle garnishments and other payroll-related deductions with precision
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for auditing purposes
Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll
Generate payroll reports and provide detailed analyses to management as needed
Support payroll audits by preparing necessary documentation and data
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance
Assist with special payroll projects or initiatives as required
Requirements:
Proven experience in processing payroll, preferably within the construction industry
Familiarity with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements
Strong understanding of full-cycle payroll operations
Experience handling payroll for medium-sized organizations (101–500 employees)
Knowledge of payroll garnishments and deductions
Proficiency in payroll software and systems
Ability to interpret and apply payroll-related regulations and laws
Bilingual English/Spanish required
